King Saud University, Medical school graduate 1992.Started residency in the National Guard before starting residency at the University of Manitoba general surgery. Canadian board and American board certified by 2000. Finished fellowship in Hepatobiliary Oncology and transplant from the University of Alberta. Started pancreas transplant program at KFSH&RC in 2003. Consultant transplant and general surgeon and the Director for Department of Surgery Outreach Program between the years 2003 – 2008.
Started Hepatobiliary Oncology Surgery Program at KFMC between the years 2005 to 2008.
In 2008 established Multi-Organ Transplant Center at KFSH Dammam.
In 2009 Director for National & International Collaboration office.
In 2011 Associate Executive Director for Core Services up to 2014.
Champion for Clinical excellence and Care delivery project at the Ministry of Health from Aug 2014 to Dec 2014.
National Director of Model of Care / corporatization Transformation, Ministry of Health since January 2016.
